About

This is a digitized version of Davina Marie Harvey’s High School Memory Book.  She attended Trenton High School in Trenton, Grundy County, Missouri from 1921-1925. The memory book contains lengthy, personal inscriptions from her fellow classmates, event programs from dances and plays, photographs, business cards, and sketches. Davina was known for being studious, outgoing, taking teacher training courses, playing basketball, driving a Hudson Coach (a little recklessly), and working at Fair’s Drug Store. One example of a much-discussed event is when she and a group of friends skipped school, drove to Chillicothe, ate at Shirley’s Diner and shoplifted small items from Woolworth’s.

You can browse the memory book by subject category using the menu on the side. You will see the original content from the memory book and the transcribed text below.
